P S ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
P.S Higher Secondary School was started on 13th January 1905 as a primary school in Mylapore with about 300 students.
The School owes its origin to the munificence of Pennathur Subramania Iyer, Attorney–at-law and a far sighted philanthropist of Mylapore, who had bequeathed his entire property in 1899 with the object of providing national education that would inspire our youth with the high ideals of patriotism and reverence for our ancient national culture.
P.S Higher Secondary School, which celebrated its centenary in 2005, has produced great personalities in all walks of life. The alumni of the school have held high positions in various fields.
